Just bear through the first couple hours it gets much better.Įxcellent replayability especially the Arena portion

It's not for everyone though, but to give it a fair chance try to remember that you're gonna be a little frustrated in the beginning. That's what keeps me coming back, the satisfaction. No precanned animations just you doing the work. Once you get the hang of it you can pull off some pretty insane moves and they'll feel way more satisfying because you're the one doing them. The reason the controls are different is for more control over your character. Your character is gonna look a little drunk till you get the hang of things. This is because the controls are different from anything else and you won't be able to use much of that muscle memory from other games.
Exanima mods health regeneration full#
Don't expect to be able go full Rambo from the start just because you're an experienced gamer. If you don't wanna watch a tutorial at least go to practice arena first. I made one, but there are more out there too. If you're thinking of getting it I highly recommend watching a tutorial or two first to help you get over that steep learning curve. You're getting quality for your money here and I wholeheartedly recommend this hopefully future masterpiece.
Exanima mods health regeneration Patch#
Whenever one every 5828 full moons a content patch actually releases (such as last week!) it's incredibly difficult to even find a single bug. Everything is physics based, speed and impact of a swing, the body part (and the layers of armor on top of it) being hit are all being taken into consideration for damage calculation, ragdoll physics and all that jazz.ĭespite this being a five man operation, what is also very nice to see, is the level of commitment the team has towards quality assurance. The combat system has to be experienced and defies explanation. There's enough single player campaign content to keep you engaged for a few dozen hours and the Arena System on top of that will be fun for a few dozen more. However, what is available right now is already worth the asking price many times over. Now, the obvious problem out of the way first: Yes, this game releases updates at a snail's pace. Cooperative and competitive LAN multiplayer.More complete arena game modes featuring outdoor arenas.Ranged combat and new close quarter manoeuvres.Build and permanently save characters by completing early content.Large non-linear main game following early content.
